About RCCG Covenant Sanctuary

The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Covenant Sanctuary is a registered charitable company with the Companies House and the Charity Commission for England and Wales. The worship address of the church is Forest Lane Lodge, Magpie Close, Forest Gate, London E7 9DE. The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Covenant Sanctuary is affiliated with RCCG UK through an agreement for common purpose dated 21st of August 2013.

VISION & MISSION

To make heaven through the teaching and a lifestyle of holiness. Heb. 12: 14

To reconcile the world back to God through the word of God and mission works. Matt. 28: 19-20

Restoring family values and giving hopes to the hopeless. Isaiah 61:1

We will pursue these objectives until all nations are reconciled back to God and the purpose of God is fully restored in marriages, homes and families of the world.

The purposes of RCCG, COVENANT SANCTUARY are:

  • To worship and serve God.
  • To fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus Christ as set forth in Matthew 28:19-20.
  • To minister to the needs of the members and others in our community within available means.
  • To make holiness and faith the core of our teachings and conducts.
  • To do any and all things related to and in connection with the carrying out of the object and purpose herein above set forth.

Principal Activities of the Charity

The principal object is the advancement of the Christian Faith in accordance with statement of beliefs of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, and the relief of poverty. Running Sunday worship services and midweek bible study, supporting other charities and Christian events. The Church’s Sunday and midweek services are open to the public to build on their Christian faith.

In addition to the regular worship and Bible teachings, we also organise the following public benefit events which have attracted people from different over the years.

  1. Annual couples Retreat to strengthen marriages and homes
  2. Annual Children, Teenagers and Youths camping in August of every year to keep these age groups busy during the summer holidays
  3. Weekly food distributions in the community under “Love your neighbours’” poverty alleviation program that started in year 2020 during the covid-19 pandemic and still ongoing at the parish level
  4. Periodic visits to elderly homes in our community
  5. Supporting our local community by promoting cohesion in our community and impacting the lives of the young people and the elderly
  6. Providing support to member in the community in need on case-by-case basis

Outreaches

We hold outreaches in areas of interest to our community such as care homes. We share the joy of Christmas and celebrate mothers’ day with residents of care home in our community. We also give gifts, sing Christmas carol, and spend quality time with the residents.
